Tamas - Owner and Founder of Savaria Studios
From an Acrobat to a Business Man and Heavy Metal Drummer.
Tamas has earned high praise from music’s most influential voices by blending the conventional principles of punk, metal, thrash and rock music to create a thoroughly unique sound that has catapulted this acclaimed percussionist and musician to international acclaim. This Hungarian native and former Ringling Brothers acrobat has found himself with consistent positions on a variety of worldwide music charts, tours at some of the most respected festivals and venues, non-stop appearances on major radio and television networks, and an international legion of fans, Tamas and his studio Savaria Studios have produced the most exciting musical acts to hit the independent music scene in many years.
Jon Markson - Engineer/Producer
Jon has been creating and preforming with bands since age 12. He convinced his weary parents to buy him a guitar and a 4 track recorder in middle school and he has toiled daily towards the endless pursuit of recorded glory ever since. As a life-long creator and instrumentalist, Jon has toured the world in technical punk rock stalwarts Such Gold - shredding the stage at home and abroad alongside bands from Descendents to Metallica.
Upon completing a music degree from Connecticut College, where he studied under famed composer Arthur Krieger (whose compositions from the 70's were famously sampled by Radiohead), he moved to Brooklyn and immediately began working with bands out of The Gallery Recording Studio - a studio he operated until 2018. There he cut records for artists like Drug Church, Brothertiger, Such Gold, Self Defense Family, Husbandry, Taking Meds, Cocomama, Escarioka and many more.
In late 2018, Jon teamed up with Tamas to move his operations to Savaria Studios. As a passionate recordist and as an artist, Jon has dug into both sides of the glass and uses the whole of his experience to help artists reach their sonic goals and leave with the tools to thrive outside of the studio.
